This look was inspired by a line from a poem about Venice by Anna Akhmatova. "...it's like the sun is freezing on an ancient pale canvas..." I imagined the powdery colours of the walls, a glimpse of mosaic in a glass window and the rest just happened... On £220 budget - because I wanted to paint the lips in classic red.
